Solid hardwood is milled from a single piece of wood and can be refinished many times. Engineered hardwood has a real wood veneer over a plywood core — more dimensionally stable and suitable for below-grade or on-slab installation.
Solid hardwood typically cannot. Engineered hardwood can be glued down directly over concrete with proper moisture testing and prep — which we handle.
Most residential projects take 2–4 days including subfloor prep, installation, and finishing. Site-finished jobs take longer due to staining and coating drying time.
Costs depend on wood species, square footage, subfloor conditions, and installation method. We provide detailed estimates on your free Zoom call. We work on jobs starting at $2,500.
Yes — furniture must be removed from the areas being installed. We can advise on logistics during the Zoom consultation.
